The Bar Code Private Tutorial is a comprehensive individualized writing program designed by former bar graders exclusively for repeat-takers of the California and New York bar exams. It was created for students who fail the written portions of the test despite adequate studying and preparation. The private tutorial provides students with extensive individualized feedback through customized study plans and one-on-one tutoring. Students participating in the private tutorial receive the following:

Written review and critique of a combination of 60 essays and PTs (to view a sample edited essay, click here)
A minimum of weekly, 90-minute meetings with a Certified Bar Code California Bar Exam tutor or New York Bar Exam tutor.
A review and assessment of prior exams
Admittance to the Essay-Writing and PT Workshops (in California only)
A copy of The Bar Code Cheat Sheets in Action for use during the tutorial term
A detailed study calendar

The Bar Code Private Tutorial Program is uniquely structured for each student and is designed to accommodate different study habits and learning styles, while targeting the specific weaknesses of each student's exams. It is a rigorous and intense training program that requires a significant commitment of both time and energy from each member. Students are encouraged to take a minimum of eight weeks off of work prior to the exam.

Cost of Program: $3500 - $4000 (cost varies by tutor).
